Schedule and Calendar for Second Year Students:
- Continue research in thesis lab
- Present thesis ideas and early data at Program Retreat (October)
- Complete 2 electives (can be chosen from any of the tri-institutional offerings)
- PBSB Wednesday Seminar Series (seminar course 2)
- Form and meet with your special committee to discuss thesis and ACE goals (by December)
ACE Deadlines for 2nd years students:
- January 31st - PBSB ACE Committee Form
- January 31st - PBSB ACE Topic and Specific Aims Approval Form
- April 30th - ACE Written Examination
- June 30th - ACE Oral Examination
- Admission-to-Doctoral-Candidacy Examination (ACE) Tutorial (November)
- Critical Dissection of Scientific Data (seminar course 3 – March-June)
- Admission-to-Doctoral-Candidacy Examination (ACE) (by July 1st)
